Google comes through again

My grandma had a bunch of children’s books from Parents Magazine Press. Most of them came out from 1969 to 1971. I used to read them over and over and over and over. Most of them ended up being sold off on our garage sale, and I only kept my favorite ones.

Now, of course, when I see one of them in a thrift store, or in a library book sale, I get all excited and have to buy it. Some of the books that I found were so dim in my memory that I could only remember a picture or two. I have most of them now.

There is one, though, that I still don’t have. All I can remember from it is that there were animals that were in a jug band. So I typed “Parents Magazine Press” and “jug band” into Google, and voila! The book is Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas, and the county library has it.

So I will be making a trip to the library soon.
