Apprentice
This week the teams were designing floats to advertise a new movie called “Zathura” (no relation to Zatera Ul). The women’s team got to adopt a member of the men’s team, to build their number back up–they chose Randal.
But the women continued to catfight and neglect important points, such as branding, scale, and correct pronunciation of the product name in front of the customer. Poor Randal hit it on the head when he said his team members didn’t listen to or respect each other, and that was the advantage the men’s team had. Too bad he didn’t say it much louder, and earlier on: “Quit fighting and get to work! The men aren’t wasting time clawing each others’ eyes out!” Actually, the men were squabbling a bit themselves–Markus was too busy feeling shut out to help with the sweeping. It would be interesting to see how he would do on the women’s team.
In the boardroom, Jennifer narrowly squeaked by Kristi, although both George and Carolyn recommended that Jennifer be fired. Carolyn had to remind Jennifer that it was a job interview, not a popularity contest. Jennifer is, like totally, the blonde beauty-queen type. Even Carolyn was laughing during the presentation, when Jennifer consistently mispronounced Zathura. But in the end, Kristi was fired for being part of her team’s dysfunctional dynamic.
