Late Apprentices

Now that I’ve almost forgotten what went on:

Martha Stewart Apprentice: Jim gave Marcella a last-minute attack strategy, so she survived being the project manager of an uncooperative (and highly unsuccessful) team. The reward for the other team was a tour of one of Martha’s houses, led by her daughter Alexis–it was fairly surreal, with big dead fish adorning the walls. Alexis confessed to being an introvert. Martha’s secretary still scares me.

Donald Trump Apprentice: Could they please retire the phrase “step up to the plate” and all variations thereof? This time around, Clay was annoying and unhelpful, even after switching teams and getting a “creative” task, and so he got fired. We were howling with laughter when George admitted to owning a rock radio station. (Ever notice that laughter is spelled just like daughter?)
