Well, I am tearing my hair out trying to get a proposal written, but I did finally get out to see King Kong last weekend. As I told MFH afterward, “You know how Duluth is like the civil engineers’ playground, with overpasses everywhere? [To the extent of having a four-way stop up in the air.] Well, King Kong is Peter Jackson’s Duluth.” It was a three-hour movie, but didn’t feel that long to me. I am still wondering how Kong was transported to New York–that part was left out entirely. He seemed awful big for the ship.
