Our Kitty

I’ve been trying to figure out our cat’s Myers-Briggs personality type. I think she might be an ESFJ or an ENFJ.

There’s a cat personality test here, although the types are defined differently. My cat is a “Bold Social Defiant Vocal”:

If you share your home with a BSDV cat you will probably find her charming, but perhaps a bit overwhelming. A bright BSDV cat learns early on that people are trainable. She will use both postitive and negative reinforcement techniques. If you are too easily intimidated the BSDV cat can rule as a tyrant. Because she is social and enjoys attention, you can negotiate with a BSDV cat, however, engaging in a direct battle of wills is unlikely to be productive. The BSDV cat may be a difficult patient in a veterinary exam room. She may back down with just a token grumble when approached in a confident non-reactive manner, however if she has ever had an opportunity to find out just how intimidating her vocal defiance actually is, she can be a formidable adversary.

Actually, she does fine at the vet. It’s the car ride there that she really hates–and she will tell me so, and how much, all the way there and back.
