Sick with a lovely UTI, just when I had caught up with the housework. Then, when I started to get better, writing a 20-page paper (a fake grant proposal for an in-car deer detection system) for my class. Sewing cloth diapers. Not sewing my Sew? I Knit! bag. Discovering that the best time to take the cat outside is right before mealtime–she’ll come back inside voluntarily if she’s hungry enough. Watching the garden burst into life (especially the weeds).

Pregnancy and procrastination go together–there’s just not as much energy to go around as there used to be. My class only reinforced this–I did all the work for it at almost the last minute, and everything turned out fine (as far as I know).

Now I’m healthy again, and mostly caught up on housework, and finished with my class, and have time to work on the bag again because the deadline has been extended, and I have the rest of the week off work.
