Zatera Ul

We went up north for the weekend, for a college friend’s wedding. It was nice to be in the U.P. town where we had spent (between us) 13 years in college/graduate school, and to be able to visit with friends. We hadn’t been back there since our honeymoon. Some things have changed–sadly, two good thrift stores are gone. A couple of new strip malls have been built. We got out to the beach for a bit on Friday, and I found a nice agate, about the size of a goose egg, just as we were leaving.

MFH borrowed a friend’s expensive camera for the trip, and brought his new photo printer. So he was deep in photo foofiness–taking pictures, and printing them out for people–most of the time. I re-read my friend’s copy of The Princess Bride while we were there.
