1. Last night I felt the first definite, unmistakeable baby movement! Up until now it’s been little flutterings.

2. Who has more gender-related proscriptions on their behavior and participation: Christian women in the Church or feminist men in feminism? I came across a spirited discussion the other day about whether men could even be feminists (versus, say, “pro-feminist”) and how feminist men have to be walking-on-eggshells-careful to leave all their patriarchal privileges behind, and then some–to protect the delicate feminist women, I guess. Now, of course, I can’t find it, but Hugo has a somewhat related discussion.
