Zatera Ul

We spent most of the Fourth of July outside the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District, and have the bug bites to show for it. Nice to see how many people around here appreciate our independence enough to make the sacrifice of driving to Wisconsin to get real fireworks for a proper celebration.

I turned the last quart or two of our raspberries into raspberry ice, using The Joy of Cooking’s still-freeze recipe. I forgot to stir it while it was freezing, but it still turned out really, really good.
