The St. Paul Public Schools referendum, out of sheer voter crankiness, because the renewal and increase are bundled together as a single ballot question, rather than addressed separately.

The Transportation Amendment. While I don’t mind dedicating revenue, everything I’ve read about it says that up to 40% of the funds will go to mass transit, which is already massively over-subsidized here, and doesn’t do much good outside the metro area. (I think of the rest of the state because I’m from Michigan, where the lion’s share of the tax money flows downhill into the black hole of Detroit, never to be seen again.)

Amy Klobuchar. Her campaign sent us a mailing a few weeks ago, with a picture showing special interests shopfronts built into the foundation of the U.S. Capitol. This picture is the most amateurish Photoshop job that I’ve ever seen, and definitely doesn’t inspire my confidence in her competence.
