OLC is at the stage where she likes to stand (with support, obviously). Now, when she’s lying on her back and I try to pull her up into a sitting position, she’ll push with her legs and stand instead. Also, she lifts her feet like she’s taking little steps. I think her muscles are lagging behind her recent growth spurt, though; I know mine are–she feels heavier every day. Funny to think that she’s never going to be this small again.

As for rolling, she can roll from stomach to back if she raises her chest up and falls over, or from back to side.

She discovered how to use her hands a while back, and can play with her Mr. Whoozit for a while when I’m working. (Like most of today’s baby toys, it looks like it’s been designed to encourage the development of ADD, but she likes it.) She also has been grabbing fistfuls of her own hair (the same hair she was born with; it hasn’t fallen out yet).

She smiles and laughs and coos a lot. Once in a while, she’ll say “geek”. Smart baby.
