Zatera Ul

One little bit of our recent trip to Michigan, since I’m not up to writing the full account now:

Sunday was a long day of driving, but we finally made it to my parents’ house. Too smoky in the house, and too cold to sleep in their motor home, so we stayed next door at my grandma’s house. Grandma is about as old as Yoda, and can’t see or hear too well anymore, but she’s still spry enough to get down on the floor with her newest great-grandchild. I’m glad she lived to meet her.

I learned that she had home births, too–back in the days when the country doctor would come out to the farm. Of course Grandma is worried that we’re spoiling OLC far too much. She did comment on how little crying OLC did.
