The Minnesota State Fair starts today, with fog and rain.

My knee was doing better, until I hopped out of the car to return a library book yesterday. Looks like this is going to put a crimp in our State Fair plans. It was going to be a challenge to cart OLC around there anyway, but now we’re going to need a stroller for me too. Or at least a Slow Moving Vehicle sign to pin on my back. No agile stroller-dodging for me this time.

MFH is going to the Weird Al concert on Monday. I like Weird Al’s music a lot too, but decided that I’d rather stay with the baby this time.

MFH finally understands why I prefer to eat at one of the church or civic group dining halls at the fair, rather than trying out things from a lot of different vendors: I can’t walk and eat at the same time very well. (Plus it pains me deeply to spend $6 for a little shish kebab that won’t fill me up.)
