The local homework guidelines. It starts at 15 minutes per day, every day, for kindergarteners, and only gets worse from there.
They even have ten bullet points beginning with the letter P about the “purposes of homework”! *barf* Nice use of taxpayer dollars there.
I’m getting new glasses, but alas, the frame styles are not in my favor this time around. So I will have to put up with smaller lenses, and a larger field of blur around them. A pox of 20/100 vision on the designers! (And that’s just for my good eye.)
OLC has learned how to push with her hands to propel herself backwards across the hardwood floor–it looks like moonwalking on all fours. Very funny.
