OLC has turned the corner to toddlerhood; she can push herself up into a stand, and take a few steps as she flings herself toward the nearest person or piece of furniture. She can also climb down the stairs by herself now. She does endless rounds of climbing onto and off of our futon. Also endless rounds of climbing onto my lap as I’m trying to work.

She has also learned how to blow into a pennywhistle and make a sound. She can reach the piano keys, too. Books are also very attractive–she likes to turn the pages. The books that she can reach regularly end up on the floor.

The church Thanksgiving dinner went well. I had fun working in the kitchen. But afterward, I took my Sabbath on Monday, and I’m glad I did.

Hardly any progress on the novel lately.
