Pilates
I started doing my Pilates exercises again, and boy they feel good. I didn’t realize how tight and crabbed up I was until I tried to do some of the things that I used to be able to do so easily. So I am starting back in gradually. The nice thing about Pilates is that there’s pleasant results right from day 1: feeling more flexible and graceful. This builds up into a much better mobility, being able to really handle your own body weight and move it around into some really cool-looking positions. I also like the mental challenge of Pilates, and the fact that the only equipment that I really need for it is a mat.
The Pilates book I use is Pilates: Body in Motion, by Alycea Ungaro.
