….is not going to either Obama or McCain. I have been dithering for a while about whether it would be worthwhile to vote for McCain as a vote against Obama, but Minnesota is so unlikely* to go for McCain that I’m not going to bother.

I’m out of the media loop, mostly, though I watched most of the first two debates. But even so, I’ve caught serious economic policy boners from both candidates. And I’ve decided that economic literacy is my core issue this election. Being less worse than the other guy is not good enough this time around.

*Even considering the notorious inaccuracy of the Minnesota Poll. In the last presidential election, some of the Minnesota Poll numbers with their error ranges didn’t even overlap those of the other polls. I will lecture once again, as a responsible scientist: that means at least one poll is not nearly as accurate as they say they are, and is in fact so embarrassingly inaccurate that they need not be taken seriously.
