Need some more prayer
I have an acquaintance who is not a Christian. Every time I run into her, I just know that Jesus is thinking this about her: “I’ve had my eye on this one for a long time. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’ve chosen her for my own. She is extra special to me, I love her SO VERY MUCH, and I can’t wait until the time comes when she really gets it and lets me in.” As much as I would like to tell her about this, I just don’t think I’m the right person to do it–I think her place in the Body of Christ is going to be in an entirely different limb than the one I’m in, and that right now she needs someone who can talk about spiritual things with her without lapsing into Preach Mode. But the demons seem to know that they’re in danger of losing her, and it is obvious (to me), from the sheer amount of crap that she has been through in the past few years, that they are on a mission to destroy her before she turns to Christ. As in literally kill her; they’ve come close more than once. She has a tremendous gift that could be very effective once it’s put in God’s service.
So I am praying for God’s protection over her life, for him to put the right Christians with the right words in her life, and for him to give me the wisdom to know what not to say and what to say.
