Meredith inspired me to find a pretty little vase, and go out to pick some wildflowers to put in it. There’s a nice patch of sweetpeas down the road. So nice to have fresh flowers in the apartment!

A while back MFH received a present from above: someone threw out a bunch of darkroom stuff. If there was an enlarger in the lot, it was too far buried in the dumpster to retrieve neatly. So now he is busy improvising an enlarger.

I was once again reminded that I am not a typical Target shopper: tried to buy plain ol’ ammonia, and could not find any. They have every last scent of Febreeze under the sun, but not a basic cleaning solution. I should go to Walmart more, but I find it rather overwhelming–crowded and visually chaotic.

I’ve been following the latest Voxiversity, a study of Jonah Goldberg’s book Liberal Fascism. I’ve been consistently failing the quizzes, because I don’t actually have the book. But I’m still learning a lot.
