Hi, It seems if i crank up all the knobs, i get some odd modulation type sound. I also am the person who had to replace my 1uf capacitor with another ceramic layered one. its a 50v instead of a 25v though if that will affect it. Is there anything to be done or check?

i really do not care for 9 volt batteries and we have so many things that already run off of aa's . i was hoping to be able to run this unit off of a larger 12 volt sla cell i have here ? is that ok ?

how about a car battery or a deep cell , i have a few of those and we take those to the woods sometimes and have little jam sessions .its nice because i can recharge these and i don't have to worry about them running out all the time .

i met J. thru another forum where i had shared video links to some mini battery powered guitar amps i had hacked together . eventually he contacted me and asked if i would build/test then share my feelings on his Stella amp kit . i have no formal training in electronics , but i have done my share of tinkering , hacking and mod-ing stuff over the years . my youtube channel sows a handful of the projects i have done over the last few years . i have been more active in this field due to suffering a back injury that leaves me with more time on my hands .
